Job Summary: As the Video editor, you will work closely with our content creation team to develop engaging and visually appealing videos that tell compelling stories and capture the attention of our target audience. You will also be responsible for editing both short-form and long-form video content, tailored for various social media platforms.Please note *Important * - Your portfolio links and access should be attached with the Resume.Key ResponsibilitiesCreate and edit high-quality video content for social media platforms.Collaborate with the marketing team to develop creative concepts and ideas for video content.Storyboard and plan the flow of video content to ensure a cohesive and engaging story.Select and edit music, sound effects, and visuals to enhance the overall quality of the videos.Optimize videos for social media platforms, considering factors such as aspect ratio, video length, and file size.Stay up to date with the latest trends and best practices in video editing and social media content creation. The ideal candidate should have creativity, street-smart thinking, and a hunger to push boundaries, constantly experimenting with fresh video ideas.Proven experience in editing Meta ads (Facebook/Instagram), including trendy formats, sharp cuts, on-screen text, graphic motions, transitions, and platform-optimized edits.Ensure all videos are consistent with the brand’s style, tone, and messaging.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely delivery of video content.Monitor and analyze the performance of video content on social media platforms and make adjustments as needed.Qualifications Education: A bachelor's degree in film studies, broadcasting, communications, or a related field preferred Experience: 2 - 4 years proven experience as a video editor, preferably in the beauty, luxury, skincare or products industry.
