The Caribbean Community (CARICOM) Secretariat, headquartered in Georgetown, Guyana, is the principal administrative organ of the Community. Its responsibilities include strategic planning and management of programmes and activities in a number of functional areas, including External Trade, Human and Social Development, Sustainable Development and Good Governance.
