Throughout his distinguished college swimming career, Jon observed elite swimmers and their techniques. As a volunteer coach for a small, local team he used his experience, knowledge, and unique approach to coaching to lead his team to a 4th place finish out of 3,000 teams at the American Age Group Finals. Still, he was concerned by how few children at team try outs could be considered strong swimmers.Jon committed himself to developing a learn-to-swim program that would teach world class techniques to children. His unprecedented program changed the way swimming is taught. We do one thing and we do it extremely well: we teach the lifelong and life-saving skill of swimming.
