Are you looking for a new challenge?Do you have experience or would you like to have experience in working in sexual health outreach and prevention?If so iCaSH Milton Keynes are looking for a full time (37.5 hours p/w) Sexual Health Outreach and Prevention Practitioner.This could be a Band 5 post for someone with previous experience or the opportunity for this to be a Band 4 developmental post (moving to Band 5 after training). This post will be responsible for the delivery of sexual health prevention, Chlamydia screening, HIV point of care testing (POCT) and condom distribution.Hours will be flexible to include evenings and weekendsPlease advise us of any flexible working proposals in your application which can be discussed at interview stage.Please note that the nature of this job requires you to hold a full UK drivers license and have access to a vehicle"Should we receive a high number of applications we reserve the right to close this vacancy at any point after 8th December 2025"Work collaboratively as part of the iCaSH team to provide a comprehensive and confidential service for service users presenting with contraceptive or sexual health needs.Deliver outreach services to target groups which are relevant to their lifestyle and sexual practices including:Promoting condoms and personal sexual health strategies.Offering advice and information about sexual and reproductive health and signposting to clinical services.Helping service users to assess their sexual and reproductive health needs and referring them to appropriate clinics and other services.Providing Chlamydia and Gonorrhoea screening kits to asymptomatic target groups.Offering and providing HIV point of care tests (POCT) to target groups.Providing support in terms of safer sexual practices.Providing C-Card training and condom provision for 1324-year-olds.Developing and providing a range of sexual and reproductive health training courses.Rated Outstanding by the Care Quality Commission, we are proud to provide high quality innovative services across most of the east of England that enable people to receive care closer to home and live healthier lives.Theres one reason why our services are outstanding and thats our amazing staff who, for the seventh year running, rated us incredibly highly in the national staff survey.If you share our passion for innovative and high-quality care delivery, then please submit your application and join us on our exciting journey as a leading-edge specialist community provider.
