We are looking for a Band 5 Nurse with at least 12 months post qualification experience to complement our existing nursing team and to work within our dynamic and friendly team. The successful applicant will join a multidisciplinary team of skilled and highly motivated staff who provide quality care to children with a wide variety of conditions including medical, surgical, trauma, orthopaedics plastics, ENT and the largest Bone Marrow Transplant Centre non-malignant blood cancers .The St Mays site is a designated childrens and adult major trauma centre with a dedicated 24/7 childrens Emergency Department and a specialist High Consequence Infectious Disease Unit within our PICU. We work closely with our High Dependency Unit at the Chelsea and Westminster site as part of the West London Childrens Healthcare.We are looking for a Band 5 nurse who is committed to delivering high quality care and supporting our current and future services. The post holder must be willing to engage in all the development opportunities and be enthusiastic about their own development and growth. In return we will enhance your skills in caring for children who are critically unwell. To demonstrate politeness, courtesy, and sensitivity in dealing with patients/clients, visitors/relatives and colleagues, maintaining good customer relations. Contribute towards sharing good practice within the ward/department and Trust wide. To promote a positive image of WLCH and Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust at all times. To work cohesively with all members of the ward team in ensuring that the very best services to patients are provided at all times.
