Summary:
The Transaction Coordinator is responsible for managing all aspects of the closing process, from initial contract to final settlement. They will work closely with real estate agents, clients, and other stakeholders to ensure a smooth and timely transaction.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Open and maintain transaction files in compliance with company standards
Submit fully executed sales agreements and required addenda to the title company, lender, and agent, and update all contact parties with critical dates from the agreement of sale
Verify that the earnest money deposits are made, request evidence, and track receipts from all parties involved
Schedule all required inspections (property, pest, appraisal, etc.) and secure proposals and receipts when needed
Assist in the preparation of marketing flyers or advertisements needed to move listings efficiently and effectively
Coordinate with clients, agents, title companies, lenders, and escrow companies throughout the closing process
Ensure that all necessary paperwork is completed and submitted on time
Resolve any issues that may arise during the closing process
Communicate with clients, agents, and other stakeholders to keep them informed of the status of their transactions
Monitor deadlines and ensure that all tasks are completed on time
Update and maintain the transaction management system
Maintain compliance with company standards and legal requirements
Perform other duties as assigned

Required:
3+ years experience as a real estate Transaction Coordinator/Assistant.
Demonstrated successful track record of real estate Transaction Coordinator experience.
Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
Proficiency in using transaction management systems and other related software
Preferred:
Associate’s degree
Work Environment:
This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.

Position Type and Expected Hours of Work:
This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are typically Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.
