What you’ll do as a Tax Analyst:
Preparation and review of statutory accounts of the Group companies based across several jurisdictions to ensure compliance with statutory requirements.
Responsible for tax compliance reporting, filing and ensuring it meets legislative requirements for the entities for which the person has responsibility.
Ensuring proper reconciliations of relevant general ledger accounts.
Develop strong relationships with other members of the tax, finance, and legal teams; work collaboratively across functions to drive excellence and consistency across the team and organization.
Preparation of CIT returns and documentation and reconciliation of Corporate Income Tax accounting in line with local GAAP standards and guidance, providing analytical support as needed.
Assistance with various indirect tax compliance matters (VAT).
Develop working relationships with key contacts within the tax and broader finance departments, tax advisors and local tax authorities to maintain and enhance local compliance knowledge, proactively addressing risks or issues which may impact reporting.
Work on ad hoc projects as and when required including research of new accounting standards to assess and communicate the accounting impact on the business.
Support the team on continuous process improvement activities; assist in identifying areas where efficiency can be achieved through greater use of technology and the implementation of automation
What skills you will use:
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or Economics; or equivalent
Excellent command in English
Accounting experience (tax experience is a plus).
Knowledge of tax compliance including direct tax
Strong analytical and accounting skills
Working knowledge of financial accounting statements and ledger accounting processes and procedures.
Experience of process improvement implementation and accounting systems
Exceptional communication and problem-solving skills; must be able to effectively communicate to different types of audiences.
Must be organized, have a strong attention to detail and possess good time management skills.
Must be flexible and be able to multi-task. Must also be comfortable working under pressure, handling multiple assignments and deadlines.
Ability to work well within a group but also be self-sufficient and work independently.
