Leidos is seeking a System Administrator to support a program in Hill AFB, UT.
**What you'll be doing:**
* Maintain smooth operation of multi-user computer systems, including coordination with network administrators.
* Interact with users and evaluate vendor products.
* Make recommendations to purchase hardware and software, coordinates installation and provides backup recovery.
* Develop and monitor policies and standards for allocation related to the use of computing resources.
* May program in an administrative language.
* Develop and implement testing strategies and document results.
* Provide advice and training to end-users.
* Provide guidance and work leadership to less experienced staff.

**To be successful in this role, you must meet these requirements:**
* Bachelor's degree and 2-4 years of prior relevant experience or Masters with less than 2 years of prior relevant experience.
* US Citizen with the ability to obtain a DoD Secret security clearance.
* Experience with Windows and Linux system administration.
* Experience with virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V).
* Experience with scripting languages (e.g., Python, PowerShell).
* Strong troubleshooting skills.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
You might also have these desired skills:
* DoD 8570 IAT Level II certification (e.g., Security+).
* Experience with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
* Experience with configuration management tools (Ansible, Puppet, Chef).
* Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
