Our client is looking to add an experienced Supply Chain Planner to their growing team.
The Supply Chain Planner is responsible for developing and executing effective planning processes that ensure the right products are available at the right time, in the right quantity, and at the right cost. This role focuses on balancing demand and supply, optimizing inventory, and supporting cross-functional collaboration across procurement, manufacturing, logistics, and sales.
Salary Range: US$70-85k
Key Responsibilities:
-Demand Planning & Forecasting
Analyze historical sales data, market trends, and customer insights to create accurate demand forecasts.
Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to integrate promotions, product launches, and seasonality into forecasts.
-Supply Planning & Inventory Management
Develop supply plans to align with demand forecasts and production capabilities.
Monitor inventory levels, safety stock, and replenishment policies to minimize shortages and excess.
Optimize order quantities and lead times to balance service levels
-Production & Procurement Coordination
Work closely with manufacturing and procurement teams to ensure material availability.
Schedule production and align with supplier delivery timelines.
Manage exceptions such as delays, shortages, or urgent customer requirements.
-Performance Monitoring & Reporting
Track key supply chain KPIs (e.g., forecast accuracy, inventory turnover, OTIF – On Time In Full delivery).
Generate reports and provide insights to management on risks, opportunities, and improvement initiatives.
-Continuous Improvement
Identify process inefficiencies and propose solutions to optimize supply chain performance.
Participate in supply chain digitalization and system enhancements (ERP, APS, or planning tools).
Qualifications & Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business, Engineering, or related field.
2–5 years of experience in supply chain planning, demand planning, or inventory management.
Strong knowledge of supply chain processes and best practices.
Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics) and planning tools.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, formulas, data analysis).
