We are looking for a Sr. Analyst of Planning and Reporting who shares the desire to take on challenges and contribute to strategic decisions of the Finance team. If you are a person who enjoys analysis and proposes continuous improvements, we want to meet you!
What challenges await you:
Carry out budget monitoring with real versus budget deviation analysis. Elaborate explanations, aiming to identify risks and opportunities in the achievement of established goals, participating actively in proposing corrective measures.
Prepare monthly reports on the evolution of P&L lines and operating metrics, contributing to senior management decision-making. Analyze performance through indicators (KPIs), ensuring efficiency and process optimization.
Build financial models for strategic planning and resource allocation. Prepare business plans and forecast models to assess potential new investments.
Support the development of our strategic planning through detailed analyses, translating them into dashboards and indicators that allow an exhaustive follow-up of the management, aiming to facilitate decision making by our senior management.
Identify and monitor critical variables of the Business (drivers) by using predictive and retrospective analyses, in order to project results and support decisions for risk mitigation.
Be responsible for analyzing, interpreting and explaining the organization's financial information, focusing on results by product line or by cost center. Conduct analysis of variations vs budget and previous results, helping to determine opportunities for efficiency improvements.
Improve analysis of results by leveraging data and business expertise.
Participate in monthly/quarterly closing and budget/forecast processes. Work together with other Financial Planning team members as well as teams in other areas of the organization (accounting, business intelligence, etc.).
What we expect from you:
Degree in Economics, Business Administration, Accounting, Engineering or similar.
3 years of experience in Financial Planning roles, with strong emphasis on analytical tasks, results analysis, and variance analysis.
Advanced level in spreadsheet/Excel, including financial models and business planning and monitoring construction. SQL is a plus.
Advanced level in management reporting and presentations, particularly using google slides
Knowledge in databases such as: Big Query, Hadoop, SQL is desirable.
Knowledge of programming tools for dashboards development is a plus.
Results and detail-oriented, with great communication skills to present to executives in simple language, being able to engage in constructive conversations on relevant insights.
Knowledge of planning and financial modeling tools.
English is required and Portuguese is desirable.
Availability to travel to Buenos Aires (Argentina).
