Our house is a vibrant blend of history, design, andHospitality, Home To Several Unique Food And Drink ConceptsAtlas Brasserie & Café, Haven, Pier 42, and Gustav Jazz Club.Our passion lies in creating memorable guest experiences through food, atmosphere and hospitality.About The RoleAs Sous Chef, you’ll be part of our talented kitchen leadership team, working closely with theExecutive Chef to guide and support the kitchen team. You’ll play a key role in developing andexecuting our culinary concepts — ensuring that every dining experience, from breakfast and lunchto à la carte and events, delights our guests and reflects Amerikalinjen’s high standards of quality,creativity, and hospitality.You’ll also be part of the hotel’s extended leadership team, collaborating with other departmentheads to drive development, efficiency, and growth across Amerikalinjen.Your Main Responsibilities Lead and support the kitchen team in daily operations Ensure high standards for taste, presentation, and overall guest experience Contribute to strategic menu development and seasonal concepts Oversee hygiene, safety and food control routines (HACCP) Train and motivate chefs, apprentices and kitchen staff Manage ordering, stock and cost controlWho You Are Several years of experience as a chef, including leadership responsibility Strategic mindset with a genuine passion for creating memorable guest experiences Structured, dependable and solution-oriented Up to date on culinary trends and inspired by creativity Fluent in English; Scandinavian language is a plusWhy Join UsAt Amerikalinjen, you’ll be part of an ambitious and international team with room to grow.
