Software Developer Full-time Job

OVERVIEW

We are seeking a Software Developer to join an experienced Scrum Team consisting of a Product Owner, Scrum Master, Quality Assurance Analysts, Software Engineers, Front-end Developers, and Architects. The candidate You will be responsible for hands-on development across multiple technology stacks, frameworks, and tools (Visual Basic 6, C#, .Net, .Net Core, HTML, CSS, ASP.Net Web API, Microsoft SQL Server).

WHO YOU ARE

You will be working on desktop applications, windows services, and web-based development initiatives, ensuring software development life cycle activities are consistent with the direction set by the Architects or Development Team Lead and/or generally accepted best practices. As part of a Scrum Team, you will be responsible for participating in all team ceremonies and committing to a team-first attitude. You will be part of a team of peers working on highly technical, enterprise initiatives initiated by Product Owners via a prioritized portfolio of features.

POSITION ACCOUNTABILITIES

• Work with the Development Team Lead on technical, and enterprise initiatives and deliver clear, documented, and well-formed opinions, research, and solutions

• Code development and testing

• documenting patterns and standards

• Technology evaluation and recommendation

• Ability to take high-level direction, work with senior engineers to formulate a plan to achieve goals, and execute against Stories and Tasks.

POSITION SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS

Must have

• University degree in Computer Science or related discipline

• At least 3 years of experience with .Net \ .Net Core, C# and the Microsoft stack of technologies

• Experience with Visual Basic 6.

• Experience in web standards such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript as well as browser capabilities

• Knowledge of unit testing back end business logic.

• Logical and technical problem-solving skills

• Ability to learn and quickly comprehend new concepts

• Strong judgment and decision-making ability

Nice to have

• Experience with RESTful web services a plus.

• Full-time job (40 hours weekly).

• B2-C1 Advanced English Level.

• Availability from 8-5 pm in the EST-PST-CST time zone.

• Remote Work.
