Social and Welfare Coordinator at the International School (191637)Location: Bar Ilan UniverstyDepartment: International SchoolPosition Scope: Full-time (100%)Job Description:Plan, initiate, and implement social activities and trips for international students.Operate the international students’ social club.Plan and organize holiday and festival activities for students, according to their religion and country of origin.Initiate and organize joint activities with social organizations in Israel.Participate in events organized by the student union and other organizations.Provide opportunities for familiarity with and exposure to Jewish life in Israel.Identify and connect students with host families.Establish and manage a “student buddy” project.Supervise additional social activity leaders.Identify student welfare concerns and address them with the university’s welfare services.Communicate with students’ families in cases of emergency or security tensions.Carry out additional projects and tasks as required by the job and supervisors.Requirements:Bachelor’s degree.Experience in initiating and organizing social and community activities.Experience in event organization.Experience managing staff and teams.Experience in a similar role – an advantage.Familiarity with and use of social media platforms.Experience with graphic design and editing software.Proven project management skills.High-level proficiency in Hebrew and English.Strong customer service orientation.Excellent interpersonal skills.Ability to work independently and in a team.Ability to coordinate between various departments and systems.Willingness to work non-standard hours.Knowledge and experience in using Artificial Intelligence (AI) – an advantage.Commitment and ability to work from home as determined by supervisors.Compatibility with the university’s unique character, values, and mission.Additional Information:Position is under a special contract.The university encourages workplace diversity and invites applications from all groups in Israeli society, including candidates with disabilities.The university reserves the right to refer candidates to external suitability tests at its discretion.The position is open to all genders.Sent you CV in LinkedIn and also apply via this link: https://careers.topmatch.co.il/biu/redmatch-apply/redmatch.apply.html?compPositionID=194420
