The University Centre in Svalbard (UNIS) is the worlds northernmost higher education institution, located in Longyearbyen at 78° N. UNIS offers bachelor's, master's, and PhD level courses in Arctic Biology, Arctic Geology, Arctic Geophysics and Arctic Technology. With a strong focus on hands-on experience and fieldwork, UNIS provides students with unique learning opportunities in a High Arctic environment.
