The Role: We are seeking a proactive and knowledgeable IT Field Support Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing first-class technical support across various departments, ensuring the smooth operation of our IT infrastructure.Key Responsibilities:Continuous process improvement of the support activitiesResolution of tickets assigned to Field Support.Support to manage escalations and resolves customer complaints related to Field supportEnsures support and maintenance of local IT services (i.e. applications, user hardware and network/infrastructure which are defined.Coordination of support for local installation of PCs, notebooks and software components, infrastructure in conjunction with local or global GIS programsWork with 3rd party suppliers in accordance with Schenker processes as identified by the country support plan.Quality of Service management including SLA / KPI compliance and corrective actions for internal / external resources.Identify and execute Continuous Service ImprovementsImplementation of global standards for the Field support teams. (i.e. trainings, skills, tools)Coordination and execution of regular branch health checks to update key stakeholders on related IT projects, build relationships with our branches and preventative support.Coordination and completion of IT Projects in conjunction with local or global GIS programsConducting of Branch Health Check (BHC) and Cyber Café at branches within the country.This position will require some traveling throughout the country.Provide onsite and remote support for all IT-related issues.Maintain and troubleshoot hardware, software, and network systems.Assist in the deployment of new IT equipment and systems.Train staff on new technologies and IT procedures.Collaborate with the IT team to develop and implement IT policies and best practices.Requirements: Degree in Information Technology or equivalent experience.Proven experience in IT support or a similar role.Ability to interact with employees at all levelsExcellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills and a proven under-standing of IT business needs and knowledge of IT industry standard best practicesWorking knowledge of basic hardware and software productsExcellent Microsoft Office SkillsFluent in both Slovenian and English language (verbal & written)Driving licenseInterested in working with us?
