Senior Origination & Coverage (m/f/d)
Key Responsibilities
Take ownership for the systematic coverage of and interaction with both existing clients as well as new clients based on clearly defined mapping
Potential (depending on previous experience) to focus on specific geographies and/or client types (e.g. Developers/Power producers; Concession/Construction Companies; Infrastructure Equity Funds
Act as key contact person on behalf of the bank vis-à-vis defined clients list/base for various products/services (structuring/lending, M&A advisory, debt advisory etc.)
Prepare and conduct physical as well as virtual meetings and client pitches as well as distribute post-meeting notes and manage follow-up across product teams
Provide first indicative feedback on new transactions to clients/advisors to position the bank as reliable and flexible financing partner
Prepare (together with junior assistance) preliminary appraisal of new deal opportunities with key analysis
Stay abreast of news, ongoing deals and developments in the European infrastructure market with a view to helping originate both financing and advisory transaction
Work together closely with other teams, i.e. Structuring & Execution Team as well as Placement & Syndication Team in helping to analyze and assess new deal opportunities to assist in proper deal selection and exhibit a “one-team approach” opposite clients
Assist in managing/organizing the Origination Team´s weekly Jour Fixe call including preparation of relevant supporting information/documents
Liaise with Business Management to provide timely updates of Origination Team´s activities
Requirements
You have completed a Master’s Degree course from a leading engineering / business school or university
You have previously worked in a leading financial institution, consulting/ advisory firm with a focus on project/corporate finance or M&A/Debt advisory Exposure to project finance would be a plus
You have strong interpersonal/client skills, but also good quantitative and analytical skills as a basis to provide first feedback on financing structures and clients needs
You are fluent in English and German (and another European language would be a plus)
You are flexible, open-minded and an enthusiastic team player with an international mindset
In accordance with the collective agreement for bank employees and bankers, we guarantee remuneration that aligns with market standards and is tailored to your experience and qualifications. For this position, the yearly compensation starts at EUR 100,000.
