Senior Mechanical Static Engineer Full-time Job

MAIN FUNCTION OF THE JOB: -

Prepare a mechanical new and retrofit projects packages, FEED studies, EPC, project management, bid evaluation and supervise projects construction as well as equipment testing and commissioning of oil and gas facilities projects.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: -

• Prepare feed and detailed engineering for major projects packages and supervise construction, commissioning and start up.

• Prepare engineering studies, design and drawings for plant projects packages.

• Prepare and review modifications of piping, valves, vessels, boiler, oil / gas tanks, etc.

• Review, comment and approve contractor's design.

• Prepare and review equipment sizing calculations, specification, data sheets and drawings for pressure vessels, piping, and other static mechanical equipment.

• Prepare bill of materials, materials requisitions and materials inspection for major projects.

• Prepare project schedules, plans and progress reports and execute project within budget.

• Responsible for static equipment issues and deliverables at all stages of design process and purchase order included prepare data sheet, vendor clarification, bid evaluation, inspection, FAT and SAT testing.

• Supervise and lead teams of engineers, designers to carry out feed, proposals and detailed engineers of green and brown fields on shore projects

• Participate in HAZOP, SIL meetings with other disciplines...

Qualifications & experience: -

• Education: - B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering.

• Minimum 10 years of mechanical Engineering experience in engineering and construction of major projects in Oil / Gas industry.

• Excellent Communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.

• Excellent management and technical analysis skills.

• Proficient in English for effective verbal communication and good writing skills.

• Computer skills MS office.

• Chartered Engineer or working for it.

• Knowledge of mechanical engineering software.

• Safety requirements and engineering standards API620,650,660,661, ASME, NACE, BS, DIN and ASTM.

• Experience of HTR1 thermal design is preferred.
