Job Description
To provide an exceptional client experience by fulfilling client servicing requests to the agreed service standards, adhering to Old Mutual policies, and maintaining compliance with all relevant statutory requirements.
Accountability: Governance and Compliance
Keep abreast of governance and compliance process updates, understanding the impact on team
Apply updated governance and compliance processes and policies to work, keeping within acceptable risk parameters
Refer all instances outside of work parameters to Manager/Coach
Attend all relevant governance and compliance training and apply learning to role, adhering to governance and compliance requirements
Raise queries and provide feedback, escalating risk concerns to Manager
Accountability: Data Collection and Analysis
Collect and analyse client and competitor data
Draw insight to better understand trends, inform key decisions and provide innovative business improvement
Gather data accurately and input data into required templates, meeting deadlines for report distribution and quality standards, as well as adherence to all statutory requirements.
Keep all related policies, procedures and legislative/regulatory information on file for auditing purposes.
Create basic Excel charts and graphs, ensuring all fields are populated accurately, with accurate labeling and minimal errors, when creating weekly and monthly stats.

Proactively and consistently seek out solutions to rectify internal challenges to provide quality client service.

Develop working relationships with support stakeholders, providing accurate information, with agreed timescales for communication of updates.

Participate and actively seek knowledge to build own understanding to enhance output, and effectively interact with peers and team colleagues.

Provide continuous guidance and support by utilizing system/technical understanding in supporting team queries and/or knowledge/expertise sharing with clients
Effectively plan and deliver effective oral and written communication (inclusive of formal and informal presentations) on client management activities in required business unit contexts and platforms.
Maintain stakeholder data, creating new customer data as required
Respond to queries in writing, escalating for a quicker resolution as required
Manage conflict situations by clarifying misunderstandings, managing own reactions, focusing on point of disagreement and following agreed procedure
Use basic conflict resolution techniques to handle common objections appropriately.
Accountability: Reporting
Ensure correct capturing of data, including statistics.
Continuously enhance client experience by reporting back within agreed deadlines.
Provide detailed information when giving feedback and be transparent with client about agreed turn-around times, communicating progress to client.
Assist peers in effectively completing reporting requirements within agreed deadlines.
Keep clients abreast with updates of latest products and processes by means of newsletters and internal documentation and effectively communicate updates or upgrades
Understand business objectives through team or area, working towards reporting efficiencies and accurate reporting practices.
Create reports, analyses and summaries ensuring accuracy and within pre-set time frames, with appropriate supporting documentation
Analyse business trends by identifying the client information required, interpreting, collating and formatting to ensure effective dissemination in the right format (and that clients receive them accurately).
Work independently using various types of IT packages (Databases, spread sheets, email, and presentation tools), whilst ensuring governance, compliance and risk parameters are adhered to and maintained, when completing daily reports or extracts required

Skills and Experience
Grade 12
RE advantageous.
NQF Level 5 advantageous.
Data Analysis Skills with 3 - 5 years proven experience
Technical skills advantageous (Power BI, DAX, SQL, Power Automate, Power Apps)
Qualifications
