BettingJobs are working with a well-established online crypto casino who are looking to add a Senior Casino Fraud Analyst to join their team based remotely.
Key Responsibilities:
Analyse blockchain transactions (e.g., Bitcoin, Ethereum) and payment activity to identify anomalies, suspicious patterns, or high-risk behaviours.
Monitor wagering activity and game patterns to detect unusual behaviour, exploitation attempts, or bonus abuse.
Evaluate new products, third-party providers, and player activity to identify potential fraud and financial crime risks.
Ensure adherence to AML regulations, KYC procedures, and responsible gaming policies, embedding best practices into fraud prevention processes.
Lead investigations into escalated accounts, withdrawal requests, and complex fraud cases, gathering evidence to support resolution and enforcement.
Use analytical tools and a data-driven mindset to detect fraud trends, prepare detailed reports, and recommend process improvements.
Partner with internal teams (risk, technical, customer support, compliance) and external payment providers to resolve issues and exchange intelligence.
Safeguard the integrity of the casino by proactively identifying and mitigating new fraud threats across crypto and gaming environments.
Manage fraud case records, quantify financial impact, and contribute to the ongoing development of fraud prevention strategies.
Requirements:
Proven ability to analyse complex datasets with a strong mathematical and problem-solving mindset.
Strong knowledge of data analysis tools, with advanced Excel skills (SQL or other BI tools a plus).
Clear and confident written and verbal communication, able to liaise effectively across teams and with external partners.
Solid understanding of online casino game mechanics, player behaviour, payment processing, and fraud typologies specific to iGaming.
Deep knowledge of blockchain technology, cryptocurrencies, and digital wallets, with hands-on experience monitoring crypto transactions.
Meticulous, process-driven, and committed to maintaining compliance with AML, KYC, and responsible gaming standards.
Ability to work evening and night shifts, typically 22:00–06:00 UTC+2, to ensure continuous fraud monitoring and platform protection.
