Senior Backend Engineer - Royal Match Full-time Job

As a Senior Backend Engineer in Royal Match, you will design, develop, and maintain the backend systems that power our popular mobile game. You will work on challenging problems related to scalability, performance, and reliability. You will collaborate with a team of talented engineers, product managers, and game designers to deliver innovative features and improvements to our players.

What you’ll do:

* Design, develop, and maintain scalable, reliable, and efficient backend systems using Java.

* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.

* Write high-quality, well-tested code.

* Participate in code reviews and contribute to improving our engineering practices.

* Troubleshoot and resolve production issues.

* Mentor junior engineers and contribute to their growth.

What we’re looking for:

* Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.

* 5+ years of experience in backend development.

* Strong proficiency in Java and experience with related technologies and frameworks.

* Experience with designing and implementing RESTful APIs.

* Experience with relational databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL) and NoSQL databases (e.g., Redis, Cassandra).

* Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Google Cloud, Azure).

* Experience with distributed systems and microservices architecture.

* Experience with agile development methodologies.

* Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

* Passion for games and a desire to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
