REQUIREMENTS: A Senior Certificate (Grade 12)/Matric certificate. Proven registry/filing experience of minimum two (2) years is essential. Understanding of Records Management prescripts. Basic understanding of Public Service Legislation, Policies and Procedures. Understanding of file plan of a Government Department is crucial. Knowledge and experience in storage and retrieval of files. Skills: Basic interpersonal relationship. Problem solving. Ability to work under pressure and as team. Computer skills. Organising and planning skills.
DUTIES: The successful candidate will render Registry functions which include amongst others: Opening, Closing and indexing of files. Maintaining both electronic and manual register/indexing systems. Manage files retrieved/received into the registry. Handle the filling/storage of records as well as distribution of mail. Conducting regular file audits. Perform all registry related functions as required.
