Senior Accounting Manager Full-time Job

About the Senior Accounting Manager Role:

In this position, you will be reporting directly to the Finance Director and in charge of leading the accounting team to ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

* Manage the monthly and annual closing process, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting.

* Prepare and review financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.

* Ensure compliance with local accounting standards, tax regulations, and internal control procedures.

* Lead and mentor the accounting team, providing guidance and support to ensure their professional development.

* Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate and timely financial information.

* Manage and reconcile intercompany transactions and balances.

* Assist in the preparation and coordination of annual audits.

* Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy in the accounting function.

* Monitor and analyse financial performance, identifying trends and areas for improvement.

* Provide financial analysis and support for decision-making purposes.

* Develop and maintain accounting policies and procedures.

To succeed in this role, you should have strong technical accounting skills, excellent leadership abilities, and a solid understanding of financial reporting requirements.

Key Requirements:

* Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA or ACCA certification is a plus.

* Minimum of 8 years of experience in accounting, with at least 3 years in a managerial role.

* Strong knowledge of local accounting standards (VAS) and tax regulations.

* Proficiency in using accounting software and ERP systems; experience with SAP is preferred.

* Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

* Strong leadership and team management abilities.

* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

* Fluency in English and Vietnamese.
