About the job
Qualifications: The minimum qualification is Associates Degree in Nursing (ASN) from an accredited nursing school/program or local equivalent. Preferred RN with school nurse experience, BSN or MSN. Fluent/near-fluent English speaker. Non-smoker. Responsible for Physical Health Services including treatment and referral of acute injuries, management of chronic health care plans of students, necessary health checks/screening (lice, Covid-19) Mental Health Services including the identification and support of children with mental health issues as well as referring students to mental health professionals when appropriate. Healthy lifestyle education including arranging for 1 st Aid/AED certification of all staff, healthy lifestyle education for students, staff, and parents.
