The Central Bank of Seychelles (CBS) is the central bank of the Republic of Seychelles. It was established in December 1982. The main functions of the Central Bank of Seychelles are to formulate and implement monetary policy to achieve price stability, issue and manage the national currency, oversee and regulate the financial system, and provide banking services to the government and other financial institutions. CBS also advises the government on economic and financial matters.
