Role – SAP O2C Expert Salary: £40K Location: Imerys – St Austell, Cornwall Hours: Monday to Friday 37.5 Hybrid Job Summary: The SAP O2C Expert will support both, this new OPERA S/4 Hana Core Model AND, all SAP ECC6.0 Legacy systems (different platforms for different business areas in different countries). The SAP Expert is part of the multinational Opera Services Team, reporting to the Business Manager based in Austria. This is a hybrid role, at least 2 to 3 days a week based at our main office in Par, St Austell, with some travelling involved. The roles main responsibilities: Is focused on process and workflow design, the realisation of SAP solutions and the end user support in the area of SAP SD and its environment, such as; cost calculation, transport management, material management and interfaces. In addition, knowledge of sub consequent modules, such as Controlling, Finance, Production and Logistics Execution is a must have for this position. • Ensure O2C (mainly SD module support for existing SAP S/4 Hana (Level 3) and ECC6.0 platforms (Level 2 and 3) • The ongoing development of solutions and support activities round off is in the area of responsibility of the SAP O2C Expert. • Active participation of the S/4HANA deployment including UAT, trainings and roll out when required • Supporting and steering different kind of projects within the SAP environment Other important functions: • Interact and work close with the business to elaborate solutions on existing issues • Interact with Opera roll out teams to ensure the integration with the SAP S4/Hana core model • Escalate in case of conflicts regarding several activities inside daily business and projects • Participate in Application DRP for the application portfolio she/he is in charge of, in conjunction with the respective business stakeholders and IT teams • Applicative solution suppliers and TPM The Company: The world leader in mineral-based specialty solutions for industry, with over 16,000 employees and over 200 sites worldwide, Imerys delivers high value-added, functional solutions to diversified sets of industrial sectors, from processing industries to consumer goods. Requirements: • Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or Engineering • Minimum 6 years of professional hands-on experience with application management • Extensive experience implementing, migrating, managing, SAP ECC6.0 and ideally S/4 HANA SD module • Functional knowledge of SD integration with MM, FI and CO modules • ABAP and ABAP Objects understanding • Strong business knowledge in Industrial environment • Analytical and holistic thinking - for transforming customer/user requirements into efficient solutions (considering Imerys SOD) • Affinity for new challenges and thus the willingness to become familiar with new technologies and issues • Have a good knowledge and understanding of application architecture • Dedicated, independent and responsible way of working - to achieve the set goals Ideal experience: • Functional experience of PS and TM modules would be appreciated • Experience of working within a culturally diverse global company • Experience in multidisciplinary team management • Conversant in French or another European language (Italian for example) would be advantageous • Knowledge and acting on the SAP Basis will be welcome If you wish to be considered for this position, please follow the instructions below
