Sales Representative-Repost Full-time Job

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Sales Representative will be responsible for creating a positive member experience by providing a superior level of customer service to Planet Fitness members, prospective members and guests. The Sales Representative will assist in the daily operations of the club and will maintain a clean and organized club environment.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:

Greet members, prospective members and guests, providing exceptional customer service.

Handle all front desk related activities including:

Answer phones and processing new memberships

Take prospective members on tours

Facilitate needed updates to member’s accounts

Respond to member questions and concerns in a timely and professional manner and elevate to Assistant Manager or Manager as needed.

Maintain a high level of cleanliness and organization throughout the club.

Complete all opening and closing procedures.

Assist in the ordering of club supplies.

Work closely with Assistant Manager and Manager to ensure smooth operation of the club.

Participate in all club meetings and training sessions.

REQUIRED SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS:

High school diploma or GED equivalent.

Customer service experience preferred.

Excellent communication skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Ability to multi-task and prioritize tasks.

Basic computer skills.

Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Ability to lift up to 25 pounds.

Ability to stand for long periods of time.

Ability to bend, stoop, and reach.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, talk, and hear.

The employee is occasionally required to sit, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, reach, push, pull and lift up to 25 pounds.

The employee is occasionally required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls.

The employee is occasionally required to reach with hands and arms.

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

The work environment is usually quiet to moderately noisy.

The employee is occasionally exposed to dust, fumes, and airborne particles.

The employee is occasionally exposed to cleaning chemicals.
