Sales Manager, Global Media & Events Firm ( HONG KONG )A leading global media and events firm is now looking for a savvy Sales Specialist to cultivate, develop and convert business opportunities for their award-winning products, solutions and industry events. With a rapidly expanding business model the firm's target markets include Hong Kong, China and Southeast Asia. This role will report into a business development manager in Hong Kong and the Head of Commercial APAC.Responsibilities:Lead team and yourself to achieve agreed revenue goals through consultative sales strategies and long terms relationship developmentIdentify, cultivate and maintain business development opportunities within market segment assignedDevelop, plan, implementation and execution of tactics and programs in accordance to the business model and strategy on entire portfolio of corporate product line include Events, Exhibitions and sponsorships programsDevelop incremental business to sustain continuous growthProvide training and development of new staff, as well as continuous product knowledge refresh.Work alongside departmental sales & marketing team meetings, as well as representation at external line of business meetings.Participate in local trade shows and networking opportunities to gain exsposure across target market.Requirements:Bachelor degree holder with minimum 5+ years’ experience in salesIdeally possess a sound background knowledge of corporate initiatives and trends in ESG, Environmental Sustainability, Green Products and Services, CSR etc. (You don't have to be an expert but certainly have an interest).Strong selling techniques with a strong understanding of consultative selling, addressing business problems with solutions rather than hard selling products.Excellent negotiation and presentation skillsBusiness oriented with strong analytical skills and good sense in local and global market trendsAmbitious, organised, self-motivatedAbility to work under pressure, achieve sales targets, juggle deadlines and prioritiesExcellent communication skills, project management skills and able to work with different Lines of Businesses within the companyStrong interpersonal skills and customer orientated, able to multi-task and work well under a fast paced environmentExcellent command of both spoken and written communication skills in English, and Cantonese (Putonghua a plus)Sound interesting?
