Role Overview:

We are looking for a Sales Development Intern to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for identifying potential customers, generating new business opportunities, and managing leads throughout the sales pipeline. You will work closely with team leaders to help achieve the company’s sales goals.

We are seeking someone with excellent communication skills, a strong work ethic, and a willingness to learn and develop the skills necessary to succeed in the corporate world.

The Experience:

As a Sales Development Intern, you will join a motivated team that embraces a "work hard, play hard" ethos. This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in Software as a Service (SaaS) sales, where you will work on real sales projects and initiatives that contribute to the company's revenue growth. Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Identify potential customers and generate new business opportunities for the company in Zimbabwe and the SADC region.
  • Contact and qualify potential leads.
  • Set appointments and meetings for the business development team
  • Track progress towards meeting sales goals
  • Use customer relationship management (CRM) software to manage leads and sales activities

Requirements and skills

  • Studying for a bachelor’s degree in marketing, Sales, or a related business field.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with potential clients
  • Time management and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • A desire to learn and grow in the sales field
  • A target driven attitude.

Remuneration

· The intern will receive an allowance plus target-based incentives.
