Africa Improved Foods (AIF) is a partnership of Royal DSM, FMO, DFID, IFC, and the Rwandan government that builds and operates large-scale food processing plants to produce nutritious foods aimed at addressing malnutrition in Africa. Established in 2016, AIF sources local agricultural produce and processes it into high-quality, fortified foods that are sold through commercial and humanitarian channels. The company's mission is to improve the nutrition and health of vulnerable populations while also creating economic opportunities for local farmers.
