Candidate must be able to influence across various stakeholders (Geoscience, Petroleum Engineering and Operations) with technical solutions for efficient well performance and optimization.

Responsibilities for this position may include, but are not limited to:

Provide comprehensive and detailed Reservoir Engineering studies and reservoir management plans on fields or complex reservoirs for optimization, monitoring and reservoir development activities. Analyze well test data and determine near wellbore and reservoir parameters.

Integrate diverse data (core, logs, pressure transient tests, production data) to provide recommendations to increase oil and gas production, enhance reserves and reduce costs.

Prepare yearly updated probabilistic reserves using economic modeling to justify work plans for field or development of large reservoirs.

Participate with multi-disciplinary team members from Geoscience, Petroleum Engineering and Operations, including presentations for peer reviews, management reviews, and partner meetings. Work effectively with other functional groups to ensure accurate history matching of production and reliable future performance predictions. Understand basic facilities and production operations principles to address opportunities to optimize the asset performance. Utilize and stay updated with Reservoir Engineering Best Practices.

Provide input into reservoir simulation studies including constructing, running, and interpreting sector and full-field reservoir models. Work with other Reservoir Engineers in applying best practices and lessons learned. Identify training needs in the Reservoir Engineering community.
