Redstone Commodity Search are working with an international non-ferrous metal trading house looking to hire remote trader.

Key Responsibilities / Tasks

Develop and manage supplier and customer relationships across Asia for Aluminium, Copper, Nickel, Lead, and Zinc, executing profitable trades aligned with global strategy.

Monitor LME and regional markets, identify opportunities, negotiate contracts, and manage counterparty and price risks.

Ensure smooth logistics, financing, and compliance for all regional transactions.

Role reports to Head of Trading

Key Qualifications / Experience

5+ years in commodity trading, ideally in non-ferrous metals or scrap, with proven deal execution in Asia.

Established relationships with regional producers, recyclers, smelters, or mills, plus strong understanding of LME pricing and Asian trade flows.

Strong negotiation, commercial acumen, and communication skills (English required; Mandarin/other Asian languages a plus), with ability to work independently in a remote, entrepreneurial environment.

Role is to be based remotely in Asia
