Our client, a global crypto exchange, are actively seeking a Senior Regulatory Specialist to join their expanding team. The individual will be responsible for overseeing the comprehensive management of the company's cryptocurrency license applications in various jurisdictions, including VARA (Dubai), MiCA (EU), and other leading regulatory environments. This position integrates regulatory engagement, project management, and risk oversight to ensure that license submissions are timely, precise, and consistent across the globe.The role:Lead all global crypto licensing initiatives from inception to approval, coordinating with regulators, legal experts, and compliance advisors.Collaborate with internal teams (legal, finance, technology, security, product, and operations) to ensure timely delivery of necessary documentation—such as business plans, financial models, risk assessments, and infrastructure descriptions—that meet jurisdictional requirements.Evaluate and verify application materials to ensure consistency, accuracy, and alignment with risk criteria across submissions.Maintain a centralized registry of active license applications, regulatory timelines, and related dependencies, ensuring that leadership is aware of progress and potential risks.What you offer:5+ years of experience in regulatory affairs, licensing, or compliance within the fintech, crypto, or financial services sectors.Fluent or professional level Mandarin and good command of written/spoken English.Proven success in managing licensing or regulatory approval processes across multiple jurisdictions.Strong understanding of crypto exchange business models, risk management frameworks, and regulatory standards (e.g., VARA, MiCA, FCA, MAS).Outstanding project management and stakeholder coordination abilities.
