Ranger in Charge Full-time Job

Rangers ensure that Queenslands national parks, state forests & reserves are protected, accessible & valued by everyone.The primary focus of this role is the management of Protected Areas, approximately 50,000 hectares, including Glen Rock, Lockyer, Deongwar, & the northern sections of Main Range National Park. A key priority will be ensuring departmental assets & visitor infrastructure are maintained to a high standard.The position will lead a team of rangers responsible for the daily management of parks & forests within the Lockyer Management Unit.
