Action Against Hunger is an international non-governmental organization fighting hunger. The organization was founded in 1979 and is headquartered in Paris, France. We tackle hunger by saving lives through prevention, treatment, and the changes we make to reach Zero Hunger. Through a network of over 7,600 field staff in nearly 50 countries, we deliver programmes which combine emergency response, nutrition, food security and livelihoods, water, sanitation and hygiene (WASH), and advocacy.
