Supervise and coordinate the protocol functions associated with the Queensland Police Service Academy education and training programs.Your Key AccountabilitiesThe core capability requirements for this role are: Supervise and coordinate the protocol functions associated with the Queensland Police Service Academy education and training programs. Coordinate official functions, ceremonies, parades, official visits and activities in accordance with Queensland Police Service requirements. Identify, investigate and research protocol issues and establish procedures to improve the related functions.

Establish and maintain effective and professional communications including building networks within the Queensland Police Service Academy programs, other Queensland Police Service establishment and external agencies. Develop and train a network of Assistant Protocol Officers for the Queensland Police Service and to provide advice and support the police regions and commands as required. Train and prepare police recruits in all aspects of drill for participation in induction parades.Role RequirementsMandatory Possession of a current Queensland Drivers Licence.Applications to remain current for 12 months.Occupational group Education & Training
