We are seeking a Business Unit Leader for the VDC (Virtual Design and Construction) area, with a strong strategic focus, team leadership, and a vision for growth. This role will be responsible for consolidating and growing our BIM/VDC service offering, leading both the technical team and our relationships with our key clients.

This role combines technical direction, people management, business development, and innovation, with a focus on results, scalability, and market positioning.

Challenges:

Lead the VDC business unit, defining its strategy, structure, processes, and objectives.

Manage and develop the team of VDC specialists (coordinators, modelers, consultants), promoting a culture of high performance and continuous improvement.

Oversee project planning and delivery, ensuring quality, profitability, and deadlines, through project leaders.

Identify business opportunities and collaborate with the sales team on proposals, bidding, and key account expansion.

Represent the company to strategic clients and participate in key decision-making within the area.

Establish and implement technical standards, workflows, BIM/VDC methodologies, and tools.

Promote technological innovation and process automation within the area.

Measure and optimize unit performance (financial, operational, and quality KPIs).

Qualifications:

University degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, Construction, or similar.

Desirable: Postgraduate degree in Project Management, Business Management, Innovation, or Technology.

Advanced English.

Proficiency in BIM/VDC tools and workflows (Revit, Navisworks, Synchro, ACC, Dynamo, etc.).

In-depth knowledge of international BIM standards (ISO 19650, LOD, BEP, IFC).

Familiarity with business and financial management tools.

Experience:

Minimum 5 years of experience in BIM MEP, VDC, or coordination, with at least 2 years in team leadership or technical management roles.

Previous experience in consulting, construction, design, or technology firms for the AEC industry.

Demonstrated ability to lead teams, define strategies, and manage units with a business vision.
