Position Title: Program Manager

Position Summary
The Program Manager (PM) manages eHA programs/projects across all programmatic functions. He/ She will have an understanding of programmatic concepts to manage operations successfully and address identified challenges. The Program Manager must possess the capability to manage and monitor the entire activity stream. A Program Manager at eHA possesses in-depth understanding of all organizational, contractual, operational and reporting requirements associated with assigned programs. A Program Manager mentors program team members to ensure excellent results within eHA’s quality standards.
What You’ll Do
Lead assigned programs and maintain accountability for contractual, operational, compliance and reporting requirements. Effectively allocate resources, including human and budgetary resources. Program Managers possess an understanding of procurement procedures to oversee logistics requests.
Program Managers provide oversight and monitoring across projects under their direct programmatic supervision, ensuring efficiency and proper reporting to maintain project deliverables in accordance to eHA and donor/stakeholder guidelines and quality standards.
Participate in development of program strategies, represent assigned program initiatives at the organization level and mentor all program team members
Support and work collaboratively with internal eHA stakeholders/ cross functional teams to identify business development opportunities (i.e. participating in grants), enhance processes and to develop organization initiatives (i.e. technology and system integrations).
Responsible for overall project performance including:
Timely and adequate invoicing and reconciliation.
Monitoring, reporting on and controlling allocated funds to maximize the value of resources. Manage any resources needed in terms of manpower and/or funding
Risk management
Project close-out
Who You Are
Bachelor’s degree (Master's preferred) in public health, a technical discipline and/or commensurate work experience is required. Work or academic background with statistical analysis is a must have.
Minimum of five (5) years Program Management or project management experience (preferably managing Public Health or Technical programs).
Experience implementing health and/or development projects with national/international non-governmental organizations, United States government, United Nations, or other international donors.
Familiarity with USAID programming is highly desired. Experience in business development and resource mobilization is highly desired.
Certifications in the health (or technical) domain preferred
Additional Knowledge & Skills
Program management principles, tools and practices and techniques required.
Working knowledge and familiarity with the US government. Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) / Agency for International Development Acquisition Regulation (AIDAR), contracts and compliancy are preferred.
Strong organizational and interpersonal communication skills.
Expert in analyzing complex data, drawing insights from findings and providing valuable reporting.
Ability to successfully interface with internal team members to proactively drive overall project timelines. Project Manager has effective, concise and professional communication skills with internal teams.
Proficiency in spreadsheet software (Excel, Access or similar) for data capture and analysis is desirable.
