You will make an impact in the following way:
Drive the success of our switch portfolio by defining and delivering M12 / IP67 industrial ethernet products
Be the 'voice of the product,' championing key attributes and functionality worldwide, fostering trust and understanding
Develop product strategies and roadmaps based on customer needs, sales justification, business goals, industry trends, competitive and market analysis, critical success factors, issues, risks, etc.
Conduct market research to identify customer needs and market trends, ensuring our products meet and exceed expectations
Communicate and coordinate product requirements and plans with Sales, Development, Test, Commercial Marketing, and Technical Support with clear and understood goals, building trust in overcoming challenges
Participate in industry events and conferences to stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies and work with Marketing department to develop marketing collaterals
What you will bring:
Education – Completed commercial/electrotechnical/IT education, ideally with a Bachelor's or Master's degree in business and/or engineering/IT
Experience – At least 7 years of experience in communication or automation markets, preferably in support engineering or product management, with a focus on Industrial Ethernet technology
Skills & knowledge –In-depth technical understanding of network technology, particularly Ethernet deployment in transportation markets (rolling stock communication), including the ability to effectively communicate this knowledge to diverse audiences, relevant experience in discrete / industrial automation markets will be an additional asset
Personality – A dynamic team player with exceptional customer focus, resilience, independence, commitment, proactive problem-solving abilities, results-driven mindset, and outstanding communication and presentation skills, especially in challenging situations
Willingness to travel – Up to 25 % predominantly in Europe, and at times overseas
Language proficiency – Fluency in English, additional major European languages are highly advantageous
