For more details, visit www.raxiogroup.com.About the Role: The Procurement Officer will manage strategic sourcing initiatives, negotiate complex contracts, and ensure cost-effective procurement of goods and services for the Group and its data center operations. This role requires strong analytical capabilities, deep market insight, and the ability to foster long-term supplier relationships while mitigating risks and ensuring compliance with company policies.

Operating at Group level, the Procurement Officer will coordinate procurement activities across Raxio’s affiliates in Africa, where the data centers are located. This role is based at our headquarters in Amsterdam, the Netherlands, and reports directly to the Head of Procurement. What you'll doStrategic Sourcing & ProcurementIdentify, evaluate, and select suppliers for IT hardware, software, and data center services and equipment.Develop and implement sourcing strategies aligned with business and operational objectives.Contract Negotiation & ManagementLead negotiations for high-value and complex contracts, ensuring favorable terms and minimizing risk.Draft, review, and manage supplier agreements, including SLAs and KPIs and amendments.

Monitor contract performance and compliance throughout the lifecycle.Supplier Relationship ManagementBuild and maintain strong relationships with key vendors and service providers.Conduct regular supplier performance assessments and drive improvement initiativesCost Optimization & Risk ManagementAnalyze market trends, pricing benchmarks, and cost structures to identify savings opportunities.Assess and mitigate supply chain risks to ensure business continuity and resilience.Cross-Functional CollaborationWork closely with IT, Operation, Finance, and Legal teams to align procurement strategies with technical and regulatory requirements.Reporting & AnalyticsPrepare and present procurement reports, spend analyses, supplier performance updates, and cost-optimization initiatives. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in business, Supply Chain, or related field (master’s preferred).Minimum 3 years of procurement experience, preferably in IT or data center industry.Proficiency in procurement tools and ERP systems.Demonstrated experience in negotiation and contract management. Skills & CompetenciesHas a good understanding of IT infrastructure, networking, and data center operations.Proven ability to negotiate complex agreements and manage contractual obligations.Strong skills in market analysis, cost modeling, and supplier evaluation.Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills for internal and external stakeholders.Knowledge of procurement regulations, data security standards, and risk management practices.Soft SkillsProblem-Solving: Ability to resolve conflicts and find win-win solutions during negotiations.Adaptability: Comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving IT and data center environment.Attention to Detail: Ensures accuracy in contracts, pricing, and compliance documentation.Collaboration: Works effectively with cross-functional teams and external partners.Time Management: Prioritizes tasks and meets deadlines under pressure.Emotional Intelligence: Maintains professionalism and builds trust in challenging situations.If this role aligns with your experience and aspirations, we encourage you to apply online.
