About The Role

Reporting directly to the Head of Sales, the Pre-Sales Solution Consultant role will be responsible for providing technical knowledge and guidance for internal teams during the pre and post sales process. The role will engage with clients and ensure that the solution is technically sound and delivered.

SALARY

The salary range for this role is $130,000 to $140,000 + superannuation.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with Sales Executives and Client Managers to understand client needs and translate business requirements into technical solutions.

Act as the technical subject matter expert during pre-sales engagements, including product demonstrations, solution design, and proposal development.

Design and present tailored integration solutions using APIs and platform capabilities.

Work closely with internal teams and partners to ensure proposed solutions are feasible and align with product roadmap.

Contribute and assist in creating and maintaining technical documentation, integration guides, knowledge base articles, and solution architecture diagrams for clients and internal teams.

Lead technical discovery sessions with prospective clients to assess integration requirements and constraints.

Provide post-sales support during onboarding and implementation phases to ensure smooth integration and client satisfaction.

Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitor offerings to inform solution strategy.

Translate complex technical concepts into clear, business-friendly language for stakeholders.

Support RFP/RFI responses with detailed technical input and solution architecture.

Demonstrate excellent attention to detail, with demonstrated analytical conceptual, and problem solving skills

Essential Skills And Experience

Demonstrates proficiency in designing and implementing system integrations using APIs, webhooks, and established integration patterns.

Ability to evaluate, configure, and troubleshoot integration solutions across diverse platforms and technologies.

Previous experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) and SaaS environments.

Ability to drive detailed conversations regarding technical requirements with a sales led focus in large groups and teams

Ability to read and interpret technical documentation and developer resources

Be practical and analytical with the aptitude and capability to learn quickly and with a positive attitude

Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical audiences.

Proven experience in a client-facing technical role, ideally within a sales or pre-sales context.

Strong problem-solving skills and a consultative approach to solution design

Possession of, or willingness and eligibility to obtain a Working with Children and Police Clearance Check

Desirable Skills and Experience:

Prior software development experience is preferred but not mandatory

Working towards or have obtained a tertiary qualification in the technology field

Exposure to enterprise software solutions would be advantageous
