Ziauddin University (Ziauddin Group of Examinations) was established in 1995 through a charter passed by the Sindh Provincial Assembly. It is named after its founder, Sir Dr. Ziauddin Ahmed, a renowned scholar, philosopher, mathematician, and political figure of the pre-partition era. The university is recognized by the Higher Education Commission (HEC) and offers a wide range of undergraduate and postgraduate programs in medicine, dentistry, pharmacy, engineering, business administration, and media sciences.The university operates teaching hospitals, including Ziauddin University Hospital (North Nazimabad), Ziauddin University Hospital (Clifton), and Ziauddin Cancer Hospital. These hospitals provide clinical training for medical students and offer comprehensive healthcare services to the community.
