Who you’ll be supporting
Seeking experienced and trauma-informed Support Workers to assist a 35-year-old male participant with Autism (Level 3), mild–moderate Intellectual Disability, ADHD, and well-controlled Epilepsy.
The role involves providing 24/7 care with active night duties, supporting daily living, personal care, and managing behaviours of concern in line with the participant’s Behaviour Support Plan (CBSP).
Essential Skills & Experience:
Experience with autism, epilepsy, and behaviour management
Confident with personal care and medication administration
Strong understanding of trauma-informed care
Reliable, calm, and consistent approach
Valid NDIS Worker Screening, First Aid, and CPR required
Availability:
Flexible availability for rotating rosters; consistent staff preferred.

What The Client Has Specifically Requested- Under their right for 'Choice & Control'
In line with the participant’s right to Choice and Control under the NDIS, the participant has requested:
Male Support Workers only, due to behaviours of concern
Support workers who are culturally aligned and able to build strong rapport, supporting emotional regulation, trust, and consistency
Someone confident communicating with the participant during periods of low verbal capacity
Support with personal care, including self-dressing, grooming, and showering/bathing
These preferences are based on the participant’s individual needs, comfort, and support requirements and are essential to maintaining a safe and effective support environment.
What We’re Looking For
Experience in disability or aged care, or a related field
Empathetic, patient, and reliable with excellent communication skills
Able to work autonomously and in a team
Valid Driver's Licence & access to a reliable vehicle
Current or willing to obtain:
First Aid & CPR Certificate
Working with Children Check
NDIS Worker Screening Check or Police Check
