SilverBack is recruiting an experienced Mechanical Project Manager to lead the mechanical scope of a large-scale data centre construction project in Denmark. The successful candidate will oversee the design, procurement, installation, and commissioning of mechanical systems, ensuring alignment with project milestones, budgets, and quality standards.This role is ideal for a candidate with a strong construction background and proven experience in data centre projects, including HVAC, chilled water systems, piping, fire protection, and critical infrastructure.Key ResponsibilitiesLead all mechanical construction activities on site, including installation, testing, and commissioning of HVAC, chilled water, piping, and fire protection systems.Manage mechanical design coordination, procurement, and interface with electrical and civil disciplines.Monitor project progress, budgets, and resources, ensuring milestones and quality standards are met.Oversee subcontractors, site teams, and third-party vendors to ensure safe and efficient operations.Ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental, and quality regulations.Conduct regular progress meetings with clients, contractors, and internal teams.Identify and mitigate technical, operational, and schedule risks.Prepare reports and provide updates to stakeholders and senior management.RequirementsDegree or trade qualification in Mechanical Engineering, Building Services, or related discipline.Minimum 8–10 years of mechanical project management experience in data centres, industrial, or mission-critical construction projects.Strong knowledge of HVAC, chilled water systems, piping, fire protection, and mechanical plant equipment.Proven ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and manage subcontractors.Solid project management, planning, and cost control experience.Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.EU passport or right to work in Denmark.Rotation & BenefitsRotation: 3 weeks on site / 1 week offFlights, accommodation, and Car providedCompetitive daily rate based on experience
