Job Description Mechanical Engineer Reporting to: Lead Mechanical Engineer Responsibilities: This position is directly responsible for the supervision, co-ordination and record keeping of all maintenance related activities on the plant site. Duties: Controls all maintenance documents as outlined on the site Master List of Controlled Documents. To assigns preventive and corrective maintenance jobs to maintenance technicians as per the direction of Maintenance Manager. To develop, supervises and co-ordinate plant maintenance activities. To plan and inspect completed work on plant device. To maintain records, prepare reports and compose correspondence relative to work. To acquire considerable knowledge of the process and the relevant mechanical, instrument & control and electrical system throughout the plant and apply the same to trouble shoot problems and leads the maintenance team in resolving the issue. To train the subordinates on preventive and corrective maintenance. To communicate effectively with others, both verbally and in writing. Qualifications Education and/or Experience BSc Engineering Mechanical from a recognized University with 5-7 years’ experience in similar capacity at combined cycle power plant preferably having GE F Class Technology. Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively to employees of the organization.
