Role OverviewThe Marketing & Product Development Executive plays a central role in supporting the company’s fabric innovation programs across e.g. silk , wool/cashmere categories.The role combines market research, PDLC coordination, and product development support, working closely with the senior marketing managers and cross-functional teams across China, and Hong Kong.This position ensures that ideas, research, technical development, and sampling move smoothly through the product development lifecycle (PDLC), enabling faster decision-making and stronger innovation outcomes, consider market potentials, profitable and resources management.Key Responsibilities1. PDLC Coordination (1 -2 running programs)Maintain and update the full PDLC workflow from idea → research → proto → SMS → launchTrack project status, timelines, gates, risks, and action itemsOrganize weekly cross-team reviews with Marketing, Tech Design, Supply Chain, and Production teamsConsolidate feedback from all stakeholders and ensure alignment across teamsSupport costing, fabric testing, capacity, and vendor communication where required2. Research & InsightsConduct market, consumer, and competitor research for both silk and wool/cashmere categoriesAnalyze seasonal trends, price ladders, and benchmark competitorsCoordinate focus groups, questionnaires, persona creation, and buyer insightsConvert findings into actionable briefs and idea proposals3.
Product Development SupportAssist with lab dips, strike-offs, proto samples, and wear-test follow-upsGather cross-functional feedback (Marketing, Tech, QA, Supply Chain)Prepare product concept summaries, presentations, and development reports4. Communication & DocumentationPrepare weekly PDLC updates and monthly insight decks for leadershipEnsure accurate data across trackers, timelines, and sample logsSupport preparation for internal and customer-facing presentationsQualifications & RequirementsBachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Textile/Fashion Management, or related discipline5–10 years of experience in product development, marketing, or operations in fashion/textileStrong analytical and project management skillsComfortable working with cross-functional teams across multiple sites (HK, HZ, Cambodia)Proficient in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint); familiarity with research or visualization tools a plusExcellent written and spoken English; Mandarin proficiency preferredExperience with silk, wool/cashmere, or fibers is a strong advantageCareer DevelopmentThis role provides exposure to major global brands and fabric innovation projects.Outstanding performance may lead to expanded responsibilities in account management, category leadership, or innovation management.
