About the Role:At PwC, our Human Resources (HR) professionals drive the firm’s people strategy, create a unique people experience, and work with the business to drive success in the marketplace. The HR function supports our people in reaching their full market value which then sets PwC apart as the distinctive Firm as the ‘employer of choice’.As an HR Generalist, you will play a pivotal role in driving seamless HR operations, ensuring compliance, and fostering a supportive workplace culture. Your responsibilities will span policy management, employee relations, operational excellence, and strategic initiative support, including but not limited to:Initiate HR policies, legal documents and staff handbook review and update to meet the regulatory and business needs, conduct change communication on changes and archive while applicable employment laws and regulations are anticipatedInterprets regulations and policies as appropriate and provide expertise advice on matters related to HR policies and ER cases, together with commercial and practical solutions to effectively address the issueBe responsible for employee communication on public holidays and office work arrangements in accordance with the national holiday policiesAssist in completing client surveys to provide firmwide policy related information in questionnaire based on business needsSupport in Global Mobility processes to ensure a smooth transition for employees’ network movement.Manage Global Mobility policies, employment documents to ensure legal compliance and mutual protection, in line with both internal standards and external regulationsPerform in HR Operations related services, including but not limit to onboarding support, visa administration, govt related subsidy applications and benefit/wellness activities support and etc.Participate in People Operations related projects or initiatives, aiming to align with evolving business priorities and transformation goalsRequirements:Bachelor’s degree or above in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or related field.At least 8 years of work experience in HR Operations or HR Generalist.Previous experience working in a professional services firm or multinational corporate environment is preferred.Profound expert knowledge of labour regulations at both national and local city levels (Hong Kong and Macau).Good understanding of full spectrum human capital practices and policy-related implications.Extensive experience in managing employee relations matters including investigations and dispute resolution.Demonstrated strong professionalism to handle highly confidential information with discretion.Ability to exercise judgment and remain sensitive to individual situations while balancing organizational needs.Ability to manage diverse stakeholders and take a balanced view despite different perspectives and interests.Strong communication and engagement skills to interact effectively with people from various backgrounds and roles.Skilled in managing conflicts and disputes aiming for win-win solutions where possible.Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented and collaborative culture.Demonstrate strong analytical, logical thinking and problem-solving skills.Display high resiliency and agility in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.Proficiency in spoken and written English, Cantonese, and Mandarin.The PwC China (including Mainland China, Hong Kong, Macau) does not accept unsolicited resumes from search firm recruiters.
