We are currently looking to recruit a manager to support the delivery of HK & APAC Governance Advisory and Managed Service client engagements to cope with our fast-growing practice.A role you will loveThe Manager will be an active member of the Entity Solutions team with responsibility for developing the Company Secretarial Services practice and range of service offerings to Listco clients in HK.You will be assisting to develop subject matter market insights, technical knowledge and global service delivery templates, processes, tools and materials.

You will be essential in establishing and maintaining the client relationships and assisting the AVPs to advise them on any compliance, governance and transaction related matters. Candidates with more experience can be considered as Senior Manager.Some of your key responsibilities will include: Manage to handle full spectrum work of Listed or IPO portfolio Acting as Named Company Secretary when requiredAdvise domestic and international clients on legal entity compliance, governance and transaction related mattersSupport the delivery of governance advisory and managed service client engagements locally/globallySupport business development and client relationship management activitiesMaintain relationships with client and other professional working parties Support the on-boarding process of IPO/Listed clients in accordance with company policies and processesDevelop subject matter market insights, technical knowledge and service delivery templates, processes, tools and materialsAs a Subject Matter Expert, contribute to a variety of projects and initiatives as and when requiredManage, mentor and develop of junior team membersFollow up aged debts and support for any ad hoc assignments as delegatedAs a good team player to work with the teams of other departments for any pursuitsKeep abreast of both internal and external influences to help shape the continuous growth and development of the Governance Services business and offeringWhat will you bring to the role? You will be a degree holder or above in Corporate Governance, Business Administration, Management, Finance, Accounting, Law or master’s degree in Corporate Governance.

Be an Associate Member or above of The Hong Kong Chartered Governance Institute (HKCGI), HKICPA, or other professional bodies.You will have certain knowledge of HK Companies Ordinance, Listing Rules, Securities and Futures Ordinance and other statutory and regulatory requirements for both HK and offshore companies. Practical experience in an Issuer client is an advantage.In addition, you will bring effective business, financial and risk management skills and would have the ability to think and act strategically and commercially, whilst protecting the reputation of the company.
