Maintenance Technician-repost Full-time Job

About the RoleWe’re looking for a hands-on Technician to join our technical team! You’ll be working on the maintenance and operation of equipment and machinery across a large and diverse facility. Our plant includes a wide range of departments – from slaughter and processing lines to oil production, water treatment, and cooling systems.

No two days are ever the same, and technical know-how is key to keeping everything running smoothly. You’ll be part of a skilled team of five technicians, each with their own specialty. It’s a place where you’ll get both support and the chance to grow your own expertise.

Your tasks will include:Maintenance and troubleshooting of mechanical and electrical systemsMonitoring and operating technical installations like cooling systems, water treatment, and processing equipmentInstallation and upgrading of machinery and equipmentHelping improve routines, reliability, and production flowMaking sure health, safety, and hygiene standards are always followedYou’ll be working closely with the production team and get to know the entire production chain. Working hours can vary, and some weekend work will be expected. The Ideal CandidateYou're someone who’s technically curious, proactive, and thrives in a fast-paced production environment.

You bring either a vocational certificate in automation, electrical, or industrial mechanics—or equivalent hands-on experience that shows you know your way around machinery and technical systems. Ideally, you’ve worked with maintenance tasks in a factory or process industry before, and you’re confident taking initiative while also being a reliable team player. You speak and write Norwegian well, and if you happen to have a forklift license, that’s a bonus (but not a deal-breaker).
