We, as Çalık Enerji, offer the energy from nature to the people to build a better and sustainable future.Since its establishment in 1998, Çalık Enerji has become one of the world’s leading energy companies, bringing the energy of nature to the service of people through successful projects conducted across a wide geographic area encompassing CIS countries, the Middle East, Central Asia, Africa, Europe and the Balkans in order to create a better and sustainable future.We are currently seeking a "Logistics Chief" to be assigned to our Tisza 1000 MW Combined Cycle Power Plant Project in Hungary.Qualifications;Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Transport, Mechanical, Industrial Engineering, or a related field5+ years of experience in logistics operations for industrial or power plant projects, preferably within EuropeStrong practical knowledge of EU customs legislation, import/export procedures, customs clearance documentation, and European transport regulationsExperience managing shipment planning, vendor coordination, third-party logistics providers, and site receiving processesFamiliarity with logistics software/tools and documentation platformsStrong understanding of international and European safety and transportation compliance requirementsExcellent analytical, organizational, and communication skillsAbility to perform effectively in fast-paced and dynamic project environmentsFluency in English; Hungarian & Turkish proficiency is highly preferredFlexibility to travel as requiredResponsibilities;Coordinate and manage all logistics activities for the project, ensuring full compliance with EU customs rules, Hungarian local regulations, and project requirementsPlan and track shipments from suppliers to site, including documentation preparation, customs procedures, transportation arrangements, and delivery schedulingCollaborate with suppliers, freight forwarders, customs brokers, and internal project teams to ensure smooth and timely logistics executionReview and validate shipping documentation (packing lists, invoices, certificates, permits, declarations, etc.) to ensure customs complianceMonitor transport operations, proactively identifying risks, delays, or bottlenecks and implementing corrective actionsCoordinate the receiving, unloading, and material handover processes at site together with warehouse and construction teamsKeep accurate records of all shipments, customs documents, and logistics reportsMaintain regular communication with stakeholders and provide status updates to project managementSupport continuous improvement of the organization’s logistics procedures and processes
