Role Description/CriteriaThe successful applicant must be able to demonstrate their ability to work as a collaborative team member with our Learning Diversity Leader, classroom teachers, specialist teachers and other LSOs in our school community.Applicants for this position should demonstrate:* a commitment to Catholic Education and the wellbeing and safety of students*behave in a manner that supports the Catholic ethos and the Josephite traditions of the school* a commitment to the Child Safe policy of the school* be committed to personal professional learning and the development of team based practices* the ability to work closely with others.The successful applicant will:* take direction from and report to the Learning Diversity Leader and classroom teachers to implement students' Personal Learning Plans* assist students either individually or in a group* provide physical, social and emotional care for students* liaise regularly with teaching staff with regard to student needs* be flexible in dealing with the changing and diverse needs of individual additional needs students* have a current Working with Children Check* have a Certificate IV in Education Support*care for school property that has been provided for their use*maintain students' privacy and confidentiality*comply with duties as directed by the Principal.Applications should include a covering letter and CV with the details of 3 professional referees including contact telephone numbers.Applicants are required to email this information to the principal Mrs Caroline Madigan at the following email address: principal@olsunshine.catholic.edu.au
